The Importance of a Name
"Through the years as I have filled assignments around the world, I have been asked many times if I belong to the Mormon Church. My response has been, “I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Because we believe in the Book of Mormon, which is named after an ancient American prophet-leader and is another testament of Jesus Christ, we are sometimes called Mormons.” In every instance this response has been well received and in fact has opened up opportunities for me to explain the Restoration of the fulness of the gospel in these latter days."

Dodge Journey Commerical
I love this. No more internet! I don't like some of the effects the internet has had on society.
Plus, it would have been really sweet to find one. (don't go looking...they have all been found, California, Oklahoma, and Maine)

Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Something to think about
My mission president posted this on his blog
I find it worth repeating on my blog.
The Fable of the Porcupine
I am grateful to my friend Sister Marie Hartmann for sharing this fable with me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions. After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth. Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the heat that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.
The moral of the story is: The best relationship is not the one that brings together perfect people, but when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person's good qualities. http://kbrentsomers.blogspot.com/2011/11/fable-of-porcupine.html?m=0

Thanksgiving
I am so thankful for thanksgiving!!! This year has gone by super quick, I can't believe how fast it has gone by. I am thankful to get away from Idaho and everything, not like things in my life are necessarily bad or anything, but I am ready for a change of scenery and most importantly to see my family. I am so blessed!

Mormon Messages
So can I just say- I love Mormon Messages! I love what the Church has done with the technology we have today. This particular video made a profound impact on me the first time I saw it and has done a lot for me since, especially with recent happenings in my life...
